Frequently asked questions

Product sourcing request questions, answered clearly.

Learn which route to use, what the Chrome helper can access and what happens after submission.

What is the minimum sourcing project value?

Sourcing support starts from US$1,000. This is a starting project threshold, not a supplier quotation, MOQ, final price or purchase commitment. We review the product and scope before confirming whether we can take on the request.

Do I need the Chrome helper to submit a request?

No. Use the website form for one product. The Chrome helper is useful when you want to organize several product pages in one project.

Can I download the extension from the Chrome Web Store?

No. The current MVP is a guided pilot delivered directly as an unpacked extension folder. It is not a public download and has not been published to the Chrome Web Store. Contact us to discuss pilot access.

Can I use the Chrome helper on a phone or tablet?

No. Chrome extensions are supported on computers, not standard mobile Chrome. On a phone or tablet, use the mobile-friendly website form to submit one product.

Which product websites are supported?

The helper recognizes common product details on 1688, Alibaba.com and Taobao and can also save a general product page. Page structures change, so automatic capture is never guaranteed. You can edit all fields or add a product manually.

What if the title or image is not captured correctly?

Correct the title or image URL in the editor before adding the item. If parsing fails completely, add a blank product and enter the source URL and requirements manually.

How many products can one Chrome project contain?

The current MVP supports up to 50 products in one local project. The website form submits one product at a time.

Does the service automatically place an order or guarantee a price?

No. It organizes your product references and requirements for review. A submission does not create a purchase contract, guarantee supplier availability or confirm a final price.

Do I need to share a marketplace login?

No. Do not send passwords, cookies, chat exports or marketplace account credentials. The website form reads only what you enter, and the helper acts on the active page only after your click.

What information is submitted?

The confirmed project name, contact email, currency and product fields are sent when you press Submit. Depending on what you enter, product fields can include the source URL, title, main image URL, specifications, quantity, target price and notes.

How will I know what happens to my request?

After submission, keep the receipt number. The website and Chrome helper receipts can refresh the status: new, reviewing, quoted or closed. The sourcing team uses the submitted contact email for follow-up.

Can I delete a submitted request?

Yes. Use “Delete server request” while the receipt and deletion token are available, or follow the data deletion instructions if you no longer have the original browser.

Still unsure which route to use?

Start with the website form for one product. For a multi-item project or pilot access question, contact us without sending passwords or account data.
